The army and Nüfuz

In Ottomaan you build an army alongside your own name. The stronger your army, the greater your Kudret (might), and together with your Şan (fame) that makes your Nüfuz (influence): the number the leaderboard is sorted by.

The Ordugâh (army camp)

In the army camp you recruit azap (infantry), akıncı (light cavalry), topçu (gunners) and from rank Ağa the yeniçeri (janissaries). Each kind has its own attack and defence. You expand the camp for more room, and every troop costs pay every hour.

Scout first

For a battle you need to know where your target is. A casus (spy) finds them for you and follows them after that. Only when your casus has found your target and you are in the same city can your army attack.

The battle

Whoever comes out stronger wins part of the akçe the other has on hand. Both sides lose troops, and someone badly wounded can no longer be attacked with an army. You never attack your own orta or the court.

Nüfuz on the leaderboard

Nüfuz is your Şan plus your Kudret divided by ten. The list of all players and the hall of fame show only that one number. To compare only the armies, look at the mightiest armies.
